We are looking for an exceptional and customer-serviced focused full-time Front Office Coordinator Floater. This position is for 40 hours per week at multiple clinics in the San Fernando Valley, Westlake, and Moorpark. The ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing and detail-oriented individual to perform the following duties in a friendly and efficient manner. The candidate can expect to multi-task continuously, possess excellent customer service skills, collect co-payments, effectively utilize Raintree EMR system in an efficient manner for scheduling patients and patient records, verify and obtain appropriate authorizations from insurance Providers and referring physicians. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of medical front office experience, an AA or higher degree and understand medical terminology. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Schedules patient appointments
- Collects Co-Payments
- Verifies patient insurance
- Obtains authorization from insurance provider
- Provides excellent Customer Service
- Greets patients in a friendly and effective manner
- Answers multi-line telephone system
- Maintains accurate files of patient records using EMR system
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years medical front office experience preferably in a physical therapy environment and fully understand insurance verification and medical terminology. Raintree EMR experience highly preferred. AA or bachelor’s degree strongly recommended. Spanish speaking is a plus.
