Joyce is the Clinic Director at the West Hills Vargo PT clinic and has been trained to evaluate sports and industrial injuries as well as post-operative and age-related conditions. Ms. Ambrosia is skilled at both accessing patient rehabilitative needs, developing a plan of care and treatment goals as well as overseeing execution of those plans.
Ms. Ambrosia was born and raised in Southern California, and speaks fluent Cantonese and Toisanese, also a Chinese dialect. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her master’s degree in physical therapy from California State University, Northridge. Ms. Ambrosia is an ASTYM certified clinician and has completed continuing education in the examination and treatment of spinal disorders from the acute to the chronic phases with a focus on combining manual therapy, movement science and pain sciences.
Ms. Ambrosia serves as a clinical instructor at California State University, Northridge. She is member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and is CPR, AED and First Aide certified. She has also had students from the University of Southern California, West Coast University and Mount St. Mary's.
