Gene is a Partner and Clinical Director at the Westlake Village Vargo PT clinic. He has been a licensed Physical Therapist since 2004, holds a masters in physical therapy and is a board certified orthopedic certified specialist. Mr. Flores works to combine manual therapy techniques along with exercise to improve patient health and well-being.
Mr. Flores received his bachelor’s degree in health sciences as well as his master’s degree in physical therapy from California State University, Northridge. In addition, he is an ASTYM System Certified Clinician and has received additional training in orthopedic manual therapy and orthopedic physical therapy. In 2009 Mr. Flores obtained his Orthopaedic Clinical Specialty (OCS) certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialist. Mr. Flores is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Mr. Flores is married and likes to spend time off with his wife and children. When not with them, you can find him at the gym taking part in both weight and cardiovascular training. Mr. Flores is married with two children. When not working, he spends time strength training and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Dr. Eaton Is the Clinical Director at the Vargo PT Sherman Oaks clinic. He is a licensed Physical Therapist, an ASTYM certified clinician, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is CPR certified. He specializes in outpatient orthopedics and sports physical therapy.
Dr. Eaton earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy and later earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. He has a variety of clinical experience within the different fields of physical therapy with his emphasis being in orthopedics and sports rehab.
His hobbies include maintaining physical fitness, playing recreational sports, and spending time with his fiancé and two English bulldogs.

Mr. Kauffman is the Assistant Director at the Valencia Vargo PT clinic. He is a licensed physical therapist and has been with Vargo PT since 2007. In addition to helping to manage the Valencia clinic he works daily to evaluate and treat patients, having cared for hundreds of orthopedic injuries.
Mr. Kauffman received his bachelor’s degree with magna cum laude status
in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science from California State University, Northridge. Later he received his master’s degree in physical therapy from the same university. Mr. Kauffman is an ASTYM Certified Clinician and is also CPR certified.
Mr. Kauffman is married with two children. In his free time he enjoys playing with his kids, hiking, working out and gardening. One of his personal achievements is climbing Mount Whitney.

Erik is a Partner and Director of Clinical Operations of Vargo Physical Therapy and treats at the Valencia Vargo PT clinic. A licensed Physical Therapist, Erik has been with Vargo PT since the Valencia clinic opened its doors in 2002 and fostered continued growth and the eventual move to its current location at Granary Square. He enjoys the daily challenge and process of helping each of client work toward their rehabilitation goals and highest quality of physical capability. As a sports and orthopedic trained physical therapist, he has worked with a wide variety of clients including youth to the elderly and has done a significant amount of work with multiple sports clubs, and local high school, collegiate, and professional athletes.
Mr. Wolpert earned his B.S. and Certificate in Health Science, Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. Prior to Vargo PT, Mr. Wolpert worked at the UCLA Medical Center and thereafter traveled the United States as a contract Physical Therapist. Erik authored an article “A Rite of Passage: Surviving Initiation to the ICU” which appeared in Acute Care Perspectives. Additionally, he co-authored a rehabilitation chapter in a medical textbook, Hip and Pelvis Injuries in Sports Medicine. Mr. Wolpert has observed most orthopedic surgery procedures firsthand and used those experiences to aide his clients to maximize recovery post operatively. He enjoys working with post-operative cases and has extensive experience in non-operative and post-operative shoulders, elbows, wrist, knees, hips, ankle and foot, and spine cases and likes to collaborate with physicians on the client’s care. Erik is certified in ASTYM, Myofascial Decompression, KAATSU / BFR, and CPR.
Mr. Wolpert resides in Valencia and has two daughters starting careers. His hobbies are traveling, golf, running, hiking, court sports, and exercise.
