Vargo PT opened its San Fernando location in April 2018, recognizing a need to bring professional physical therapy services to this underserved community. The clinic features an open environment with an expansive window front, creating a welcoming treatment setting. Our experienced staff specialize in treating a wide range of patients utilizing the newest technological equipment available. Jesse YoungClinic Director (PT, MPT, OCS)Jesse is the Clinical Director at the San Fernando clinic. He is a local product, having graduated from Bishop Alemany High School, which is less than 2 miles from the clinic. Mr. Young has been a PT since 2011. He has a vast array of orthopedic experience treating spine, upper, and lower extremity. He earned an APTA Specialist Certification in Orthopaedics (OCS) in 2018. Mr. Young is also ASTYM certified for the treatment of muscle and tendon acute and chronic issues.
Mr. Young received his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. He has also completed additional educational courses in spine rehabilitation and movement science. Prior to coming to Vargo PT he worked as a sports physical therapist intern with the Los Angeles Dodgers where he helped to diagnose and treat extensive acute injury management and baseball-specific rehabilitation.
A triathlete himself, Mr. Young completed the Arizona Ironman in 2011. He enjoys treatment of competitive endurance athletes, along with recreational weekend warriors. In addition to personal fitness, he enjoys golf, baseball, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife and three young children.

Justin IlejayPhysical Therapist (PT, DPT)Justin earned his Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University and his Doctorate of Physical Thereapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
In his free time, Justin enjoys playing basketball.

Ricardo Amaya RodriguezPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Ricardo is a certified Physical Therapist Assistant with a degree from the University of California Riverside and a strong foundation in cultural studies.
Outside of the clinic, Ricardo enjoys strength training and collecting sneakers.

Jesus ArguelloPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Jesus is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from Concorde Career College, whose passion for PT stems from years of playing sports.
Whenever he is not in the clinic, Jesus enjoys going to the beach and playing golf.
