Gene Flores
Clinic Director (PT, MPT, MLS, CSCS)


Gene FloresClinic Director (PT, MPT, MLS, CSCS)Gene is a Partner and Clinical Director at the Westlake Village Vargo PT clinic. He has been a licensed Physical Therapist since 2004, holds a Masters in Physical Therapy and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Mr. Flores works to combine manual therapy techniques along with exercise to improve patient health and well-being.
Mr. Flores received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences as well as his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. In addition, he is an ASTYM System Certified Clinician and has received additional training in orthopedic manual therapy and orthopedic physical therapy. In 2009 Mr. Flores obtained his Orthopaedic Clinical Specialty (OCS) certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialist. Mr. Flores is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Mr. Flores is married and likes to spend time off with his wife and children. When not with them, you can find him at the gym taking part in both weight and cardiovascular training. Mr. Flores is married with two children. When not working, he spends time strength training and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Outside of the clinic, Mike enjoys eating good food, playing video games, and going on new adventures!

Francis-Ryan IgnacioPhysical Therapist (PT, DPT)Francis-Ryan earned a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Cal State University Northridge in 2018, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the same institution in 2024.
Outside of work, Francis-Ryan enjoys basketball (especially the Los Angeles Clippers), attending concerts, and exploring new hobbies like learning guitar.

Justin CastilloPhysical Therapist (PT, DPT)Justin PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy providing patient-centered, evidence-based care at Vargo Physical Therapy – Porter Ranch. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Methodist University. Justin is passionate about helping patients restore mobility, build strength, and return confidently to the activities that matter most to them.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys golfing, staying active, and continually striving for growth both professionally and personally.

Mike FordPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Mike completed his Physical Therapist Assistant license at Concorde Career College in 2018 after obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal State University Northridge.
When not on the clock, Mike enjoys wakeboarding on the lake, snowboarding on the mountain and volunteer coaching a local high school baseball team.
