Vargo PT: West Hills

Joyce is the Clinic Director at the West Hills Vargo PT clinic and has been trained to evaluate sports and industrial injuries as well as post-operative and age-related conditions. Ms. Ambrosia is skilled at both accessing patient rehabilitative needs, developing a plan of care and treatment goals as well as overseeing execution of those plans.

Ms. Ambrosia was born and raised in Southern California, and speaks fluent Cantonese and Toisanese, also a Chinese dialect. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. Ms. Ambrosia is an ASTYM certified clinician and has completed continuing education in the examination and treatment of spinal disorders from the acute to the chronic phases with a focus on combining manual therapy, movement science and pain sciences.

Ms. Ambrosia serves as a clinical instructor at California State University, Northridge. She is member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and is CPR, AED and First Aide certified. She has also had students from the University of Southern California, West Coast University and Mount St. Mary’s.

Elhum obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Cal State University Northridge, performing her rotations at Kaiser Permanente LA Medical Center, Centinela Hospital Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Elhum enjoys reading and spending time on the beach in her free time.

Roxy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Cal Lutheran University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC.

Outside of the clinic, Roxy enjoys weight training, reading, and spending time with loved ones.

Brandon received his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Cal State University Northridge and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from West Coast University. Brandon found his passion for physical therapy after being treated for sports injuries himself and saw how rewarding it was getting people back to doing what they love.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys golf and spends time with his wife, friends and family.

David earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Cal State University Northridge and a Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from Casa Loma College.

In his free time, David enjoys working out and spending time outdoors.

Shane is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at the Vargo Physical Therapy clinic in West Hills. Shane earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from Cal State Monterey Bay and an Associate’s Degree for Physical Therapist Assistant from Concorde Career College.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys playing pickle ball, and spending time with his wife.
